What is the current availability of the program? Where is it available?

Faith Pathways was recently piloted and is now being offered on a limited basis.  if interested in offering this in your Parish or Diocese message us here.

We are offering Faith Pathways on a limited basis.  if interested, message us here.

What are the candidate requirements?

 We welcome all candidates with a  disability, 18 years or older (or are accompanied by a "helper"),  and have  a passion to grow in their knowlegde, love and service to the Lord.

What is included in the lessons?

Each lesson includes core catechism material delivered by a Catechist gifted in teaching it to people with disabilties, along with at home "mission" assignments.

What is the program length?

 The local Parish will decide the number of lessons and program length. while there  20 lessons developed, we recommend Parishes start with a foundational program of 10 lessons that can be offered over a single school year.   

Does this program include Sacramental Preparation?

 Faith Pathways does not include Sacramental preparation.  However it is Faith enrichment discipleship program that is a solid foundation for additional studies.   If a candidate is prepared for receiving the Sacraments, they should contact their local Parish.  

What is the cost of the program to the candidate? What does it cost for the Parish?

There is no cost for the candidate to attend Faith Pathways as the program cost is funded by donors.  The cost to the Parish for offering Faith Pathways is minimal and typically funded by donors.

Where are the classes held?

 Classes are a mix of remote and in-person.  The classes can be offered online, in-person, or a mix as determined by the Parish.  Ministry work is typically local and in-person.  

What is expected of the participants?

To actively particpate in the sessions, and complete the "mission"assignnments.

What are the lesson topics?

Foundational lessons include:  who is Jesus, what is prayer, the Bible, The Church, the Sacraments, the Mass, 10 Commandments, and minisry work.  Advanced lessons also available subsequently.

What is required to participate?

Have a , can read (or have an accompanying adult), and have a desire to grow their knowledge, love and service to the Lord.

How is the program delivered? What is expected by the local Parish to offer this program?

 Faith Pathways lessons are delivered by a gifted centralized special needs Catechist that is provided centrally.  The We ask the Parishes to support this program with an in-person volunteer, who leads the recruitment and coordination of lessons, and coordinates local lesson aligned ministry.
